Day Ten - They Meet, Really...

Got a lot of snow yesterday and more today
so working from home was necessary.

Seemed like the perfect day to let Lucy and Archie finally meet.
It went smoothly. Poor Archie was not prepared to be tailed all day.
No major hissing just a lot of running around, mostly Lucy.
She is very kitten like.

Archie before Lucy is let out.

She's out!

Nice window sill.

And toys!

This must be that door she keeps saying I can never go out.

Hello?

The beginning of a long day for Archie.

Bartender!

Everybody happy?

Maybe not everyone was happy.

Lucy was exhausted.

Nice sweater!

Day Nine - The Blizzard

A perfect Sunday. Lots of snow, newspapers and a little gray cat...

For some reason Lucy is not a fan of the Style section!

Day Eight "She's Out!"

I opened the door to Lucy's room and she comes barreling out hissing all the way.

Archie hightailed it down stairs and I pick her up and got her back into her room.

Perhaps Christmas Day is not the day to have them meet.

Day Seven

Eye drops seem to be working and sneezing has lessened.

It's Christmas Eve and Archie is busy helping with the decorations.

Day Six

Back to the vet! This time eye drops. She'll be all better in no time.

Day Five

Lucy helped wrapping gifts.

Archie waits outside the door...

Day Four

When Chris got home he found Archie sitting in front of the door to Lucy's room
and Lucy sticking her paw out. The first encounter!

Day Three

3 AM
I wake up and find Archie sitting outside the door to Lucy's room.

Today Lucy is sneezing a little less.

Archie is still hesitant to come upstairs.

Meanwhile Lucy explores her domain.

Day Two

Upper Respiratory Infection! You have got to be kidding. Poor Lucy has been sneezing like nuts. She was put on antibiotics for 14 days. This also means not contact with Archie. But she is eating quite well and doing all other activities normally.

Meanwhile, Archie is staring down the hall at the door to the room Lucy is in. He walks half way down the hall and then turns around.

Day One

7:00 AM.
Archie knows something is up.
"Why is she cleaning that room that the litter box was in when Kramer was around.
Is that a litter box she's putting in there?
We only need the one box downstairs.
Unless this Lucy they keep talking about is another CAT!"

11:30 AM.
We pick up Lucy at the Forgotten Felines house.
She is sound asleep. She meowed twice as we drove home.

She is very sweet. First thing she checks out... the shoes in the closet.
She and I bond immediately!

She noses around the room and checks out the views from the two window perches.
Chris sits down in the chair and she jumped right into his lap!

She rammed me a number of times and the purring began.

We decide to switch to a vet closer to our home. We find one that has Sunday hours! Tomorrow morning is her first adventure with us. Just want to be sure everything is good with her.
